We are seeking a Team Manager to join our ambitious team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the team’s growth, driving continued success, and tackling new challenges in GT4 and Porsche Carrera Cup series.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of motorsport operations, race logistics, and team management, as well as the ability to maintain clear communication between drivers, engineers and team personnel. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and successful execution of race events.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Lead, manage, and motivate a diverse team of engineers, technicians, drivers, and support staff, ensuring all are aligned toward common performance goals.
  • Race Operations: Oversee all aspects of race preparation, including vehicle logistics, garage setup, equipment transport, and pit lane operations during race weekends.
  • Strategy Coordination: Collaborate with engineers and drivers to develop and execute race strategies.
  • Logistics Management: Manage travel and accommodation for team members, as well as transportation and maintenance of race cars and equipment.
  • Budget Oversight: Monitor and control the team's budget, ensuring efficient use of resources for race preparation and event participation.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all series regulations and safety standards, including managing paperwork, licenses, and team entries.
  • Communication: Serve as the primary liaison between team members, drivers, and event organizers.
  • Event Coordination: Oversee on-site operations during race events, ensuring smooth execution from arrival to pack-up.
  • Performance Evaluation: Review team performance after each event and identify areas for improvement in collaboration with technical staff.

 

Willing to Travel:

  • Be prepared to travel extensively to all tests and race events, ensuring that all team operations are effectively managed on-site and adapted to specific event conditions.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in motorsport team management or a similar leadership role within the racing industry.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of motorsport regulations, car preparation, and race event operations (Porsche Carrera Cup, GT4, etc. is a plus).
  • Leadership: Proven track record in managing and motivating high-performance teams under pressure.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent multitasking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on efficient operations and attention to detail.
  • Budget Management: Experience managing budgets, negotiating contracts, and ensuring cost-effective operations.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment, often working irregular hours and traveling for events.
