The team are regular race winners, and enjoyed its most successful GB3 campaign in 2023, as it powered to five victories, the highest number for any team across the year.

Hillspeed are looking for individuals to join their highly successful Motorsport Teams.
We pride ourselves on the standard of our work and our very high attention to detail.

 

Race Mechanics are required immediately to join our expanded GB3 & GB4 race teams for the 2025 season and beyond.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Build, maintain, service and support the team's GB3 & GB4 racecars
  • Ensure all cars are built to exact standards and specifications according to build manuals and procedures.
  • Working to tight timelines while away from the workshop and during factory builds
  • Keep accurate records for the operation of the racecar including parts fitted and replaced during events
  • Attend and support all race and test events
  • Assist with garage infrastructure build and pack up
  • Pit equipment maintenance and manufacture. (Possible fabrication work)
  • Fulfil any other responsibilities that are related to the job


Qualifications, skills and experience required:

  • Work unsupervised if required
  • Experience in a similar role is a requirement, ideally with GB3/GB4/F4 racecars
  • Able to use and understand technical drawings
  • Have extremely high attention to detail
  • Comfortable travelling to international destinations for work
  • Hold a valid driving licence, truck and trailer categories are a plus
  • Be presentable and well organized
  • Be able to interact with drivers and suppliers
  • Good communication skills (with various departments within the team)
  • Confident and capable of working to tight deadlines
  • Fluent English, other languages are a plus


Applicants MUST have the following attributes:

  • Be eligible to work in the United Kingdom and EU
  • Be living in a commutable distance from the team base or a willingness to relocate
  • Have the ability to travel abroad with a current passport.

The position is for an experienced Race Mechanic/Technician who has previously held a similar roll.
