2 Seas Motorsport is an established front-running GT3 team, competing and winning at the highest levels across the UK, Europe and the Middle East.

2 Seas Motorsport has become a consistent front-running performer in the Intelligent Money British GT championship, scoring multiple podiums and outright victories. The 2023 season was the strongest year for the team to-date, claiming the coveted GT3 Teams’ championship. The team has built a reputation for being consistent performers and as much a benchmark off-track, in the pitlane and paddock.

Underlining its intentions and supporting the growth of the team, in 2023 2 Seas Motorsport relocated to a new 7,000sq ft workshop at the heart of 'motorsport valley' in the UK, located at Silverstone Circuit.

Number 1 Race Mechanic. Duties will include:

  • Responsibility for the preparation, build and servicing of a GT3 racing car pre-event.
  • Oversee the running of a GT3 racing car, in a calm and controlled manner during race and test events.
  • Communicate with engineering in regards to build schedules and deadlines.
  • Managing team members with lesser experience to educate and guide in a positive manner.
  • Ability to take part in pit stops.
  • Work in a clean and organised fashion.
  • Previous experience in the motorsport sector in a similar role, preferably GT3, GT4, or LMP.

 

Number 2 Race Mechanic. Duties will include:

  • Assist in the preparation of a GT3 racing car.
  • A willingness to follow instruction from their Number 1 mechanic to carry out tasks to a high standard.
  • Working independently with a minimal level of supervision.
  • Ability to take part in pit stops.
  • Previous experience in the motorsport sector would be beneficial.

 

Applicants should have the following attributes:

  • Be eligible to work in the United Kingdom.
  • Have good English language skills.
  • Hold a full UK Driving Licence.
  • Be living in a commutable distance from Silverstone or a willingness to relocate.
  • Have a flexible approach to working hours and the ability to travel abroad.
  • Be able to work quickly and effectively in time pressured situations.
  • The ability to work as a part of a team is essential.
