Number 1 and Number 2 Mechanics F4

Real Racing is a racing team with 19 years of experience in top level karting races and from 2023 we started single seater racing division to compete in Formula 4 races in Italian and European Championship. Our program is scheduled on minimum 3 years with the aim of competing at highest level of performance. 

We are based in Bedizzole (Brescia), Italy.

Role Overview:

• Number 1 and Number 2 mechanic working on one or more of the team F4 cars. Freelance job that consist in car/garage run and maintenance at race & events and preparation days

Main Responsibilities:

• Build, maintain, service and support the team's F4 cars
• Ensure all cars are built to the exact same standards and specifications according to build manuals and procedures.
• Working to tight timelines while at race, test and factory builds.
• Keep accurate records or report lifed parts fitted and replaced during all events for his relevant car.
• Attend and support all race events and selected test events.
• Assist with garage infrastructure build and pack up following guidance.
• Pit equipment maintenance and manufacture. (Possible fabrication work).
• New equipment ideas.
• Understanding of chassis set-up and regulations.
• Fulfill any other responsibilities that are related to the job.

 
Qualifications, skills and experience required:

• Demonstrate strong leadership skills, be a good team player and able to lead a team of mechanics.
• Work unsupervised if required.
• Experience in a similar role, ideally with F4 cars.
• Able to use and understand technical drawings.
• Have extremely high attention to detail.
• Comfortable travelling to international destinations for work.
• Hold a valid driving licence, C+E categories is a plus.
• Be presentable and well organized.
• Be able to interact with drivers and suppliers.
• Good communication skills (with various departments within the team).
• Competent IT skills including MS excel and word etc.
• Confident and capable of working to tight deadlines.
• Fluent English, other languages are a plus
