W Racing Team, known as Team WRT, is a professional autosport racing team, founded in 2009 and headquartered in Baudour and Stavelot, Belgium. From April 2025 onwards our premises shall be in Liège.

Apart from running various international race programs, WRT is also known as manufacturer through its subsidiary, WRT Manufacturing which develops roll cages and chassis reinforcement  for several of the world’s largest works motorsport programs, including the complete build of all some race cars

Role: Engine Builder & Technician
Location: W-Racing Team – Saint Ghislain/Stavelot – Belgium (move to Liege in the April 2025)

Role Description
The WRT Engine Builder & Technician is motivated to reach goals and objectives and promote high-standards, quality of service and team spirit in the workforce.


The duties of the WRT Engine Builder & Technician will include:

  • Oversee the assembly of internal combustion engines.
  • Assemble and test engine systems for performance and compliance.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on internal combustion engines.
  • Diagnose engine breakdowns, identify failures, and carry out necessary repairs.
  • Document and report on maintenance, repair, and diagnostic procedures.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and specialized software to analyse engine data and fault codes.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of engine maintenance and repair processes.

 

The WRT Engine Builder & Technician should have the following desired skillset: 

  • Comprehensive understanding of internal combustion engines.
  • Expertise in performing repairs and preventive maintenance.
  • Strong diagnostic skills to troubleshoot and resolve engine performance issues.
  • Effective communication skills for identifying and resolving engine-related problems with customers.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and coordinate with other departments.Promote are values (People, Passion, Performance) and commit to personal investment into the WRT ESG strategy.
